Hala Hashem has a degree from the Faculty of Economics and Political Science at Cairo University and an MBA from Maastricht School of Management, Netherlands. She joined Swiss Garments Company in 1994 as a personal assistant to the CEO, Dr Alaa Arafa and held a number of positions in sales and export management before being appointed deputy General Manager in 2007. Hala was appointed CEO of the Apparel & Tailoring Segment and joined the Board in 2006.
